And then there was one.

Alright, quick up date on the bunny. On Monday (last week), Puff was put to sleep. Today we received a card in the mail from the clinic at which she was put to sleep stating how sorry they were for our loss. I don't really know what to think of that, but oh well. I'm not so much broken up about it, because I know it was the right thing to do for her, and that she has had a considerably long and happy life. (Not to mention lazy and pampered life.) Mom seems much more broken up by it than I am. She swears she will never have another pet because it's too hard to deal with losing them. I personally think that it's worth it in the end. Hazel seems to be doing alright with out Puff. I don't know if she realizes that Puff isn't coming back yet, but she's doing fine. She's getting pampered more than ever now, gets to run around the gameroom, and get prunes more often, and treats more often.

On a happier note! I got flowers!!! Micky gave me flowers! And they're super pretty. They're some kind of lilly, and they're very pretty. They started out with just two blooms, but now all but one are open, and they're really really pretty, and they're making my entire room smell great! Yay!

Bad day

Well, not so much a bad day as a really not good day. It all start out good, and ended good, but the middle was bad. Puff, (not Hazel for once) was all sickly looking, and her eye was gross and swollen and not living at home, I didn't know this, but apparently it had been like this since SATURDAY and no one bothered to tell me until Thursday after work, after the vet was closed. So I got her in yesterday, and the verdict is not good.

Apparently she scratched her eye somehow (probably fighting with Hazel), and got it infected. So now there are three options: 1) put her to sleep 2) they remove the eye, and there are alot of other complications that go along with that, including the more antibiotics, and of course, possible complications that go along with the fact that most of the neverous system, and some ateries, and so forth run along the back of the eye socket. 3) is that we do at least a month of antibiotics, and there is very little chance that she will make it if we do that, and very little chance that they're not gonna have to remove the eye anyhow.

So while it is a horrible choice to have to make, I really think the safest, and most humane thing to do for her is to put her to sleep. There are several problems with this as well, because bunnies are social creatures, and Hazel and Puff have been together since they were born minus a few nights at the vet for Hazel, about a week of Hazel living in the bathroom due to a cone around her face, and about a week of Hazel living in the wilderness of our backyard when she managed to literally climb out of the rabbit hutch when she was very little. Hazel cries at night when Puff isn't around, so I don't know what to do. I'm afraid that as soon as Hazel realizes that Puff isn't coming back that she will stop eating, and just generally lose the will to live, and as such, she will pass away shortly after Puff does.

The only thing really making this any easier is they fact they they are both around 7-8 years old now (they actually should have just turned 8) and most rabbits don't live to see 10. So, it's not like they are young, and they have had good lives, lots of treats, no need to actually do anything. Litterally spoiled rotten. So, I'm tempted to get a kitten for Hazel to play with, because cats and rabbits get along okay if they are trained from the beginning, and Hazel hasn't had any bad experiences with cats yet. However, I'd much rather have a dog, and having a cat for her to play with would require that they live with me, and pet deposit is rediculously expensive.

Anyhow, so it sucks, but I'm still pretty sure that the first option is the nicest. I'm trying really hard to not let if affect me, so I'm sorry if it does.

I'm done ranting now.

Questions, questions, questions

So, what do you do if you don't want to be in school, you don't want to work, you don't know what you want to pursue in school, and you can't afford to not work?

hmm... well I don't know either.

Okay, so for lack of anything better to do, I think I've decided to do personal benefit type stuff... stuff that will benefit you as an individual.
Beyond reading, and working out, I don't know what else to do. So far, I've wasted a good chunk of time scrapbooking, and knitting, but they aren;t really enough to hold you for a long time, so I was wondering, "What would you do to make yourself a better person?" This could be moral, or physical, or emotional, or spiritual, or mental, I don't know, I was just wondering, what you would do.

Would you clean? Would you donate time doing something? Would you read? Would you just take up another job to benefit your self financially? What would you do?

Okay, I think that's all for today, I'm gonna go spend some time meditating on these questions myself.

Thanks in advance for any imput!

My Brother Got Engaged!!!!

Yay! My brother got engaged!!!! This means I'll finally have a sister... kinda. Sister-in-law, sister, same difference, right?

Well, I think so! Anyhow, so I guess they aren't really married right now, but they will be in like a year or something like that, so she's not really my sister-in-law yet, but almost!

Yay!!

Over and out little buddies,

This week!

Great!

This week has been great! I'm very much enjoying this not working for more than 2 days straight thing. It's a nice much needed break. Thursday I hung out with Martin and took him out driving, and played Guitar Guitar Hero 2 Revolution with him, and we had fun. I made ribs. They were super easy and really really really good. So we had pig day instead of turkey day! Later in the evening, his girlfriend even came by; it was interesting. She talks! I'd never heard her talk before. I think she's in a bit of a shock most of the time. (She's an only child, so I think being around a family with four kids, all of which have girl friends or boy friends, is a little bit much for her.) Uhm... I went out for Black Friday, found a lot of great deals! Oh, and Wednesday, we got to hang with Alex and Sheena! And I got a super super cool shirt and beanie and wrist thingy and stuff! Alex is officially my hero!

So, asside from the fact that I forgot to get tape, and I missed a few of the BF deals that I wanted, and couldn't quite afford a Wii, this week has been amazing! Not really in one of those surpise Amazing ways, but in one of those kindda everyday, everything has gone alright sort of ways. Oh, and my car is dead, that is bad, but hopefully it'll get fixed soonish.

Anyhow, enough rambling from me.

The OU game is on, and right now we're winning! So I'm going back to the game. GO SOONERS!!! BOOMER! SOONER!

I survived

I survived the whole widsom teeth removal thing. Actually, I took it really well all said and done. I didn't take any of the pain medication they perscribed because low and behold, I get home, and I'm allergic to the medicine - whoo! At least my mother knew that I was allergic before I took them. Anyhow, so I've taken a few advil, and by this time tomorrow, I'll be completely done with all that preventative antibiotic stuff. That'll be good, because it's a pain in the ass. Who ever decided that it would be a good idea to give someone who is supposed to be recovering a pill that they have to take every 6 hours is a moron. What do recovering people need? SLEEP. How can a recovering person possibly get more than 6 hours of sleep in a row and still take the damn pills every six hours? Yeah, I don't know either. On the plus side, the lady who put in the IV did a really good job, she got it on the first try. (Last time I went to get an IV put in, it took the person 3 times, 3 different places, and when she finally got it, she exploded my vein. It was very painful, and very gross.) The area around where the IV went in is bruised, but I suppose that's to be expected. I'm just glad that my whole hand isn't bruised.

My mouth is still sore, but that mostly the insides of my cheeks, and I didn't swell up at all! I still can't eat anything very hard, but that's okay, I like pasta. Anyhow, so enough of that boring shit. I feel like time is slipping away very rapidly. I suppose that's life though. I feel like I still need to get my room in order, but I can't quite seem to figure out what I really want to do with it. I also need to do more homework, and I'm going to get my school books tomorrow, which I'd been putting off as much as possible because I don't want to pay for them. So I guess this may very well be the last post for a while, because I have like 2 or three test here in a week or so.

So, to anyone out there, if you want to do anything, feel free to call me, or IM me, or whatever. I do check blogs and that sort of thing, so that's a fairly good way to go about getting ahold of me too.

I'll catch you all later.

Computer 911

Alright, so after an hour and a half of being on the phone with the Dell idiots in India, I'm getting a new computer. Yay for accidental injury insurance. It should be here shortly, like a week or two, but I won't be able to have quick access to the internet until Aug. or Sept. due to the cost and so forth. I do still have IM on my phone, and unlimited messages, so feel free to IM my phone all you want. I've made it through NCER which is good, and the final match was amazing!!!!!

Anyhow, so yes, I think that's about it for me right now. I'll try to take over Richard's computer shortly still. Oh, and you should start emailing my accounts that don't include .ou.edu in the address. I'll catch you all later. bye.

Ugh!

Not so much a bad ugh, just sort of an ugh. School is finally over. I don't feel like I did well on my finals at all, which is really disconcerting, since all of my finals were at least 20% of my total grade in the class.

Anyhow, to anyone there last night, I'm really sorry for the quick leave and such. It was a promise that still didn't quite pan through. Anyhow, so I'm sorry about that.

At least it is finally over. Tomorrow begins the 40 hour weeks for me, which will probably last until the end of this summer. One week off in there for my grandparents 50th wedding aniversary. so I totally gotta milk that week for all the fun and relaxation I can possibly get.

Tonight I MUST bowl. It is necessarry for my health that I go bowling. 156% necessarry. So even if I'm the only person there. I'm bowling. I'm so tired. Oh well. Today is sunday, and I feel like food before I start some relaxation. So I think I'm gonna find some food before some reading or games.

Later,

Ha ha ha!!

Sorry, it looked soo bad, I had to share.

As taken from NetFlix:

For the young students at a strict Catholic boarding school for girls, one particular nun (Cristina Piaget) made their lives a living hell -- until she miraculously disappeared, ending the torment. Years later, however, when the school's alumnae begin dropping off one by one, the survivors can't help but feel a familiar and menacing presence among them. Banding together, they strike out to send this twisted sister from whence she came!

Super saturated

a simple show of hands... how many people are out there with the same feeling as I have...

My brain feels like it is super-saturated. like everything is so full, and blurry up there, that it all gets mixed up, condensed, turned into ice, then you can't possibly extract any sort of information because it's all covered in 12 inches of ice. So you sit in the middle of a test, and watch the little people in your head try to chip through the layers and layers of ice only to come to the realization that you're running out of time, you have 3/4s of a test remaining, and another 9 inches to go. So in the remaining half an hour, you sit there shaking your head around, trying to get the shards of ice out of your ears, while gazing off into space beyond your paper, scribling random shit on the page, and hoping that the person grading might give partial credit.
By the time the test is over, the little people have chipped through 7 inches of ice, and managed to lose an eye, leg, and 2 arms in the process. So now what do you have?
You have 2 little people in your head, one missing an eye, and arm, the other missing an arm, leg, and terribly annoyed with the chisle that stuck in their chest. So basically, you're SOL. Your little people are no longer capable of chipping ice, and there is another 5 inches of ice encasing your brain. So what do you do now?

You go home. You take a hot shower, hoping that it will thaw the ice. Then when you discover that is is still thoroughly frozen you go to sleep for a few hours before you get up again, and force you little people to attempt to chisel through the ice with their fingernails and teeth.

Anyhow, so that's the feeling,
I need to leave soon for my test, so I'm gonna see if i can't consume some of this remaining studying.

Phish & Fish

Interesting and little known fact: if your fish is constipated, you can fead it a green pea (skinned) and that helps the fish. Amusingly enough they even like peas.

Anyhow, so Phish is acting weird, he's kindda bloated looking, and is swimming weird. he's been running into the glass on the corners a lot. Just really weird for him.

Since I lost my catfish a few days ago, I'm kindda worried I might have a diease going around my tank. I just really hope it's not dropsy or anything like that, because dropsy is gross. Anyhow, so I gave him a pea, gonna let him be for tonight, and do a 50% water change tomorrow. Hopefully that will fix everything. If not, I'll prob. lose the fish, or end up medicating him, eitherway, I don't really like what's gonna happen.

It just figures, right around finals is when you start to have problems in your tank. R. has been having all sorts of problems with his tank within the last two weeks or so, and my catfish just keeledd over, no warning signs or anything, now Phish is looking weird and bloated... not good.

Oh, Mark and I named out Betta. We named it Ferndinand. He's very pretty, bright red, with fancy fins. He's kindda boring though. Oh well.

Anyhow, so that's it for me for now.
Goodnight.

Ode to Jet Li

Jet Li was a good one, he was active and energetic, and tons of fun to watch. He'd take what the others wouldn't, he was passive, but wouldn't let the others bully him around. He was very pretty, and shiny, and the life of the tank. Oh, Jet Li, how I will miss you... until I buy another similiar of your kind.

RIP jet Li
