A new 101 in 1001.

I've done a lot over the past couple of years. I'm actually surprised at how many of my 101 goals I was able to accomplish.

As the 1001 is coming to an end, I've decided to create a new 101. Some of these are ones that I did on my first 101 but either didn't do well enough to satisfy myself. So, you may see them pop up again in this list.

1. Get on a regular exercising schedule & make it a habit (at least 28 days on the schedule in a row)
2. Lose 10 pounds - or at least enough to make myself feel good about bikini weather.
3. Drink only water for 1 whole month.
4. Eat 'in' for every meal for 1 whole month.
5. Go one whole month with no impulse buys.
6. Use only cash for 2 months straight.
7. Give at least $10/month to charity or good cause of my choice for at least 12 months straight.
8. Learn 10 new drink recipes.
9. Learn how to decorate a cake.
10. Tour at least 3 vineyards - Winery of the Wichitas, winery with Sarah, winery with Micky
11. Send Grandma a birthday card w/$5 bill in it. omitted the $5 bill, seemed too tacky
12. Watch The Godfather
13. Crochet potholder for relative/GG
14. Go sailing went, then a brother broke the boat / trailer
15. Go 88 cent kiting. they aren't really 88 cents anymore
16. Hike up a mountain (and back down again).
17. Go to a day spa.
18. Get a massage.
19. Continue to add to the savings / investments
20. Get my Dyson fixed.
21. Learn about real estate to where I'm comfortable buying some.
22. Learn a language

24. Graduate - it's about damned time
25. Continue to teach Max 4/12/09 ongoing, but definitely getting better.

Foreign Idols and such

Foreign Idols: that's what I've been doing with most of my free time lately... aside from trying still to get everything put in it's correct place, and ready for a puppy. I bought my dog crate today... OMG - is this is going to be a large dog. The dog is probably going to be about the same as my couch. It's weird when you put things into perspective like that. I promise I'll post some pictures once I've gotten the puppy. (To be fair, I don't know if it'll be a puppy, we'll see what I come out of Second Chance or the pound with.

Oh, still trying to decide what I want to do about a roommate for this next year. I'm feelin' pretty comfortable having this space to myself, and quite enjoying the freedom. The cheap side of me really doesn't want to pay the full rent.
